MinnPost Social: The Future of the Twin Downtowns
06/05/2024 @ 05:30 pm - 07:00 pm
$10Post-pandemic struggles have changed both Minneapolis and St. Paul’s downtowns for everyone, from the office worker to the resident to the occasional visitor attending an event or dining out. Many are hard at work reimagining what a thriving downtown looks like in 2024 and beyond. At this upcoming MinnPost Social, join Cityscape columnist Bill Lindeke in conversation with three Twin Cities leaders, Adam Duininck, Lynette Dumalag and Joe Hughes, about why downtown solutions matter to everyone.
This lively session is part of our MinnPost Social event series, presented by Darla Kashian — RBC Wealth Management and Great River Energy, in which MinnPost journalists share insights with audience members in a casual atmosphere that includes hosted light appetizers and a cash bar. The full Urban Growler food menu will also be available to order from.
Bill Lindeke is a lecturer in Urban Studies at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Geography, Environment and Society. He is the author of multiple books on Twin Cities culture and history, most recently St. Paul: an Urban Biography.
