MinnPost is seeking a photojournalist to produce in-depth storytelling through photography and videos. This visual journalist will report on how state and local policies affect everyday Minnesotans. We often see visual symbols of a certain policy playing out, such as a new fence keeping unhoused people out of an area. The visual journalist seeks out these cues and spends time with people experiencing the issue. Sometimes, they collaborate with other reporters, and other times, they produce content that stands alone.
This position is in partnership with CatchLight. The corps member will be a CatchLight Local Fellow and along with the host newsroom, be supported by the CatchLight Local Visual Desk. Learn more at this Inside MinnPost link.
